SPEND TIME ON THE GOOD STUFF

WHATEVER IS GOOD

It’s easy for me to talk about the evils of the modern church. It’s easy to spend a lot of time discussing what the modern church does wrong, why they do it wrong, and how it makes us all sick when they do it so wrong. Even though the things we discuss about the modern church are all true, they are not exactly edifying.

OSTRICHES AND SKUNKS

Now, I definitely don’t support the ostriches that bury their heads in the ground, and blissfully ignore the modern church garbage. However, I don’t support the skunks either.
So where’s the middle? I don’t know so don’t ask me.

Bitterness is often times called “Spiritual Grief.” I know, because that’s what I called it. In reality, my “Spiritual Grief” was my own bitterness and hurt being spewed all over anyone who happened to be listening to me flap. I made such a good skunk.

GOD’S SO NEAT

How many awesome things has God done? He does cool stuff for me all the time on this journey. Really knowing Jesus is not some heavy trip uphill, filled with exhaustion and bitterness for me anymore. Knowing Jesus is fun! The fruit of knowing Jesus is love, and joyful peace for me now.

Lets talk about the good things with one another, let’s dwell on the beautiful life we live in the Son.
